Many people live in a constant state of stress, which sometimes has been there for years. When the nervous system remains stuck in “fight ,flight, or freeze” it can lead to anxiety, burnout, sleep disturbance, chronic pain, emotional overwhelm and difficulty concentrating. Recovery begins by helping the nervous system create and maintain a state of safety and balance.
I combine mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and Clinical Hypnotherapy to effectively regulate the nervous system at both the conscious and subconscious level.

However repeated stress, trauma or ongoing term pressure can keep the system in a state of hyperarousal with anxiety, irritability, racing thoughts, stomach problems, sleep disturbance and low mood or it can keep the system in hypoarousal with emotional numbness, low motivation, fatigue and general malaise.
When this happens, willpower alone is not enough to solve the problem. Regulation requires working directly with the mind body connection.
