What Can I Expect In The First Session?
Many people feel nervous before their first session, especially if they have never experienced hypnosis or worry about losing control. That’s completely normal and it’s something we take seriously. Your first session is gentle, collaborative and paced entirely around your comfort. We begin by talking about the problem, what you have tried, what has helped and what hasn’t .
There is no pressure to share more than you want. This is about understanding how your nervous system works, not reliving anything distressing.
Then we focus on safety, before any hypnosis we use simple mindfulness and grounding to help your body settle.
